Automotive High-Security / Double-Sided

WHAT IT DOESPrimary four-way fixture for supported automotive key work, including double-sided and supported high-security profiles.
WHY IT MATTERSThe main jaw most owners start with — its multiple clamping surfaces position different supported profiles without a jaw change for every type.
TYPICAL TOOLINGStandard cutter 2.0 mm · finer 1.5 mm cutter when the selected profile requires it · standard decoder to read existing keys.
NOTESome single-sided automotive edge-cut profiles use the optional S2 jaw instead. Black Widow specifies the exact jaw setup and tooling for the selected supported key profile.

Edge-Cut / Residential & Commercial

WHY IT MATTERSIf you plan to cut traditional house and commercial keys in addition to automotive work, S2 materially expands what you can do with Black Widow.

Dimple

S1 INCLUDED — DIMPLE TOOLING OPTIONAL
WHAT IT DOESSupported dimple applications use the included S1 jaw with the appropriate optional dimple tooling.
WHY IT MATTERSDimple keys carry cuts on the blade face rather than the edge — they need dedicated dimple cutters and a dimple decoder.
ADDITIONAL TOOLING — PROFILE-DEPENDENTDimple decoder (required when decoding Mul-T-Lock 06) · dimple cutters — Standard, “MTL Inside” and “MTL Outside”. Not all are required at once.

Tubular

OPTIONAL — SOLD SEPARATELY
WHAT IT DOESHolds tubular keys so Black Widow can trace and cut supported tubular profiles — vending, motorcycle, equipment and cabinet applications.
WHY IT MATTERSTubular cuts sit around a circular key end rather than along a flat blade, so they need a dedicated fixture.

Tibbe

OPTIONAL — SOLD SEPARATELY
WHAT IT DOESTraces and cuts supported Tibbe keys — Ford and Jaguar 6-cut and 8-cut applications.
WHY IT MATTERSTibbe keys use a fundamentally different cylindrical geometry from ordinary flat automotive keys, so they require their own dedicated fixture.
TOOLINGSpecified by Black Widow for the selected supported Tibbe profile.

TOOLING, PLAINLY

The decoder measures. The cutter cuts.

Standard cutter · 2.0 mm

The workhorse cutting tool supplied for a broad range of normal supported applications.

1.5 mm cutter

Some key profiles contain narrower features than a 2.0 mm cutter can reproduce — Black Widow calls for the narrower 1.5 mm tool when the selected profile requires it.

2.0 mm aluminum / plastic / nonconductive cutter

A specialized cutter for supported aluminum, plastic and nonconductive key blanks, used when specified by Black Widow.

Standard decoder

The measuring probe used when the machine needs to read an existing supported key. It measures — it never cuts.

Dimple decoder

The decoder for supported dimple-key applications — required when decoding Mul-T-Lock 06.

Dimple cutters

Standard, “MTL Inside” and “MTL Outside” dimple cutters cover supported dimple profiles — Black Widow specifies which one the job needs.
